Total Metal Products (TMP) continues to expand the technical knowledge of its staff, and its toolroom, with the recent addition of a Haas UMC 750 - full simultaneous 5-Axis CNC machining centre and a Mazak QT250MY - CNC turning centre with live tooling turning / milling.

TMP Toolroom

TMP has implemented an internal transition programme to cross train its highly skilled toolmakers across the full range of TMP’s toolroom kit.

TMP are committed to keep up with current material technologies and handling techniques to ensure that we can produce cutting edge design solutions and production machine tools to meet our customers demanding production solutions.

As well as introducing leading edge technology into our tool room, the skills and knowledge of our toolmakers and design team are of paramount importance to our business.

TMP’s apprenticeship program ensures that we develop a highly skilled and motivated workforce, providing them with the skills required for them to take advantage of the developing world of tool making.

Our continual investment in our design team, CAD / CAM and document management systems ensures that we provide the highest level of support to meet our customers increasingly complex design requirements. Our design team are constantly keeping up to date with the latest materials and techniques utilised within the stretch bending, stretch forming and roll forming.

    TMP expands our CNC High Speed milling and turning capacity with the addition of a Haas UMC 750 5-Axis and Mazak QT250MY turning centre. Further investment in our toolroom, build room and design centre are planned for 2023.
