Each of our welding jig solutions are designed ergonomically to ensure the workplace fits the needs of the worker, rather than making the worker adjust to the workplace.
TMP’s welding jigs can be operated manually or designed to integrate with your automation solutions. TMP have an extensive knowledge of and experience in providing robotic automation welding solutions.
We design and deliver a full range of welding jig solutions from flat surface jigs through to sophisticated modular welding tables, which can include lift and tilt systems.
TMP can supply and integrate workpiece positioners like turn-tilt modular welding tables for both manual and robotic welding operations. We have many different designs which can accommodate differing workpieces across a broad range of weights and sizes. For heavier / larger requirements we can provide systems which can be adjusted hydraulically.
Each of our welding jigs is designed and manufactured in-house by our dedicated teams. Our designers, project management and production engineers work together to design and produce the most effective welding jig which meets your specification and the requirements of your business. What is a Welding Jig?
A welding jig is a device which that keeps the workpiece to be welded stable when presented with the following: pressure, heat, motion, and force.
Welding workpieces will keep parts together and stable in grips and clamps. The workpiece that is being welded is then located by the jig and is then supported by it whilst the welding is carried out.
Regardless of whether the welding process is to be conducted manually, partially automated, or fully roboticized, the jig moves the workpiece while the welding tool remains stationary.
Each welding jig is specially designed to suit your welding operation and the tolerances can be controlled by designing the welding jig to suit the bespoke requirements of the workpiece welding process.

New Capabilities
TMP expands our CNC High Speed milling and turning capacity with the addition of a Haas UMC 750 5-Axis and Mazak QT250MY turning centre. Further investment in our toolroom, build room and design centre are planned for 2023.
