OEMs expect their BiW Tier 1 component suppliers to produce their products with a number of significant properties. Their comfort and safety system components must have high tensile strength as well as a high-level stiffness; providing good quality and safety to the car body and protection to its occupants. Other, non-safety critical products, are required to be manufactured / formed from lightweight materials. All of our solutions are designed to produce components which have a good surface finish which is smooth, and which does not compromise the materials corrosion resistance.

TMP has extensive knowledge and experience of producing stretch forming, stretch bending, roll forming and component punching / piercing manufacturing systems including full automation. Our welding and assembly jigs are also designed to work seamlessly within the Tier 1’s production process.

    TMP expands our CNC High Speed milling and turning capacity with the addition of a Haas UMC 750 5-Axis and Mazak QT250MY turning centre. Further investment in our toolroom, build room and design centre are planned for 2023.
