TMP supports the local community supplying a defibrillator

There are 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests in the UK each year, nine out of ten of which are fatal. Immediate access to a defibrillator can significantly improve survival rates.

After a staff member suffered a suspected cardiac arrest and discovered there were no community defibrillators nearby, TMP Group Managing Director Steve Richards took action. He immediately approved the purchase of a defibrillator and arranged for it to be installed in an external cabinet attached to the outside of the Total Metal Products building in Drybrook.

The device is registered with The Circuit for use as a community defibrillator.
